I don't understand the weather. This is my beef with the weather...if it is going to be frigid and raining, at least ice or something. I feel jipped! it is 33 degrees and raining like crazy...without any excitement.....

Anyway - Drew is not well today. He has a virus in his throat. He will get better soon. The doctor gave him today and tomorrow out of school so he is relaxing on the couch watching MONK.

God is so awesome to us! He never ceases to amaze me. I have gotten a client from a very unusual place and friends that I haven't spoken to in years are getting back in touch! One is having a baby on my anniversary! A little boy! Another just sends a message out of the blue! It is awesome! I guess when you are travelling down a road of following God on an adventure that will change lives, there is opposition and sometimes it feels like you are all alone. I guess God just wanted to show me that we are not all alone. That he loves and cares for us and has people stationed ready to pray and lift our spirit with a kind word, or a smile!

during the fast I asked God for a couple of things. One of the things was for my business to increase. I have seen that. I have an appointment for engagement pictures and just yesterday was asked about senior pictures for a guy. I am finding that I don't even have to put myself out there...God is sending others to speak for me! another thing that i was praying for was to learn how to eat more healthy and how to exercise to benefit my body. I want to be a healthy weight, but i also need to take care of my heart. I believe that during the fast I have been shown a great start to that! Thirdly, I was praying for our new adventure. God has been showing Griffin many things and opened some doors for us! The fast is almost over, but I am determined to hear God more even after the fast is over. I am determined to know Jesus more and the power of His resurrection!

be blessed today....know that God loves you just the way you are. He created you in the way that you are. You are a creative and amazing person that doesn't have to fit into any "christianity mold" to be loved and used by God!

SNOW! Can you believe it? We have had 2 snow days this past week! The kids were out of school on Thursday due to snow and then it snowed again on saturday! It was so beautiful! The roads never got bad so it was quite enjoyable. The kids got out and played....i stayed by the fire. I believe snow coming down is oone of the most magical sights i have ever seen. Maybe I can say that because i live in GA and we only get snow every couple of years. But there is something special about seeing the world slow down. There were people out playing in the snow everywhere. It is amazing that God would use something so wonderful and beautiful to get us to slow down. Something that is fun and brings back the kids in all of us!

I love the sky after a storm. After the storm the sky looks as if it has been through a deep cleansing. The color is brighter, the air seems cleaner. After storms in our lives we look the same way! God has brought us through and we stand a little taller. Our eyes are a little brighter! Our speech is focused on thankfullness! God can take something that the enemy meant for harm and turn it into something good for us! Storms cause harm. Sometimes life is lost. Same goes with personal storms. Sometimes there is damage....sometimes it feels as if our life has been lost. But then God reminds us that He still loves us! That nothing can ever take His love from us. The storm CAN NOT take His love from us! And in that moment our face begins to shine! we turn our faces toward heaven and He looks into our eyes and places joy where there was sadness!

Be cleaner, brighter, crisper, taller today because of the understanding of His great love!

SNOW DAY! Can you believe it? about 2.5 inches of snow in GEORGIA! It was beautiful last night. It snowed for about 4 hours. The kids went out and played in it for almost that whole time. They came back inside about 9 pm and sat in front of the fire. Ashley was frozen! Her little legs were red from the cold. It was in the mid 20's while it was snowing. But they had so much fun. Uncle Chris came down and threw a couple of snow balls with them and then helped us catch the dog when she slipped out the door when I was watching Charlie experience the snow!

Church was cancelled last night and we just hung out around the fire. today was the first day that i really wanted something and couldn't have it because of the fast. I wanted hot chocolate to drink in front of the fire. But i didn't and i am glad.

well....the snow was beautiful and felt like a cleansing. today i got a client that was so unexpected! God is wonderful and blessing me! He is so good to us!

today was very productive. I got all my splendid photo credit transactions imputed for 2007. It is alot of work to own your own business! It is so rewarding too! I know that this last year...my first year as a business....has been greatly blessed. To have been a first year of a service based business, God has truly blessed me! I have gotten clients and been able to work at events that I didn't even know about! My prayer is that 2008 will be so amazing that God will receive honor and glory for it too!

today i have truely felt the feeling of freedom. I feel free from being ashamed of my past failures. My past failures have sometimes kept me from sharing Jesus to others. I want everyone to know just how much God loves them. That the sacrifice that Jesus spent for us on the cross is completely enough to cover our sins. Pastor Mark said this past sunday how dare we have the audacity to think that Jesus's sacrifice wasn't enough to cover our sins.

be blessed today in the love of Jesus. the complete and total love of Jesus!

God has been so good to me! I have spent incredible time with Him and I know it is only going to get better and better! I am really trying to work out this thought process in my head about the fast. So for me, I am choosing to try my best to follow the food guidelines, but I am choosing for my focus to be on spending time with God and praying and reading His Word. Because what I want more than anything is to know Him and the power of His resurrection! I also know that what God has called me to do, I am going to do. Whether anyone else stands with me or not I am going forward into the path that God is laying out before us!

I love Him more. I trust Him more. I know Him more. And I want that to be even more and more each day!

I had lunch with Sandy today. She fixed salad and I fixed veggie soup. It was wonderful....but our conversaton was even better! Today was the first day that I decided I would walk too.

Blessings for 2008

Good morning everyone!
I just want to extend a blessing to you today. (Deuteronomy 28:3-13) The red type is my thoughts.....

1. You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. You will be blessed everywhere you go!

2. Your children will be blessed, as well as your crops; your herds will be blessed with calves and your flocks with lambs. Your children will be blessed and everything that you are steward over will be blessed.

3. Your basket and your kitchen will be blessed. You will be blessed with good, nutritious food and with the means to prepare it.

4. You will be blessed when you come in and when you go out. You will be blessed in all your daily activities and be doubly blessed!

5. The Lord will help you defeat the enemies that come to fight you. They will attack you from one direction, but they will run from you in seven directions. You will be covered spiritually and physically from attacks in the natural and the supernatural.

6. The Lord your God will bless you with full barns, and he will bless everything you do. He will bless the land he is giving you. You will be blessed with favor and increase because of your labor.

7. The Lord will make you his holy people, as he promised. But you must obey his commands and do what he wants you to do. Then everyone on earth will see that you are the Lord's people, and they will be afraid of you. You will be blessed with a relationship with a Holy God and be able to hear from the Holy Spirit.

9. The Lord will make you rich: You will have many children, your animals will have many young, and your land will give good crops. It is the land that the Lord promised your ancestors he would give to you. The fruit of your labor will be blessed and be a testimony to others.

10. The Lord will open up his heavenly storehouse so that the skies send rain on your land at the right time, and he will bless everything you do. You will lend to other nations, but you will not need to borrow from them. You will be so full of blessing that you will be able to share that with others. Your blessing will flow out to others.

11. The Lord will make you like the head and not like the tail; you will be on top and not on bottom. You will be blessed with favor with God and man.

Well...well....well......here we are with another year! We have started out 21 day fast and it is going well so far. It is really hard to determine supper. All other meals are easy. We are doing the Daniel fast with a few modifications with the kids. For example, the kids are able to eat any type of dressing on their salad and they can eat white rice some. But we are not eating meat, dairy, sweets/sugars.

we are so excited to see what God is going to do in this 21 days. I believe it is just the beginning of a wonderful year that is going to have amazing blessings and really cool things happen.

we are in day 2 of the fast. I am sick. I have a very sore throat, it is swollen and red with blisters. But I am not running a fever so it is probably viral. Hopefully it is just the toxins flushing out of my body!

the kids go back to school tomorrow and i am looking forward to see how they do with fasting food while there at school.

I pray for their safety and for them to control themselves.
