Spring!

I am so thankful for the wonderful weather we have been having! I am extremely grateful for my mom's surgery to come out so well! Both eyes are doing great and the doctor keeps saying...this is more than we could have hoped for! Well...we actually kept Ephesians 3:20-21 close to our hearts! Because even though the doctors didn't think that the surgery would increase her vision, would just bring brightness to her vision, we believed otherwise! That GOD CAN DO EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANTLY MORE THAN WE COULD EVER HOPE OR ASK FOR!

I have been busy with the photos, which is a very good thing! I recently shot a high school play that was performing Disney's HighSchool Musical! It was so much fun! Two of the area newspapers are going to use some of my pictures to write an article about the success of the play, one includes the Mayor of Milton in the picture! AND the yearbook committee will be using some of my pics for the yearbook!!!!

I have several "Spring Pictures" to take! It is so much fun! I really love taking pictures! I love to capture all the beauty that God has given us that he allows me to see onto a piece of paper so that maybe someone else can understand the beauty too!

Drew and Ashley are performing in their middle school drama: Aladdin, Jr. Drew is a prince and a townsperson and Ashley is ABU, the monkey that is Aladdin's best friend! i will post some pics after opening night.

Be blessed and have a Splendid Day!

First Blog

This is to chronicle the crazy life of our family! This past weekend we had a baseball tourney in Clahoun, GA. We lost all 3 games, but the weather was beautiful.

We decided since we were so close to Alabama, we would go and visit the Jones family over at Seqouyah Caverns! It was so much fun just hanging out and playing Scrabble and talking photography and kidney stones :-), seeing the 2 new oxen and the peacock that was showing off for us! We found out after we left on Sunday morning that a baby sheep was born. The mother was not real interested in caring for the baby, so they will end of bottle feeding the little one!

Sunday night we were able to go visit some friends of ours that recently moved out to Texas to be a part of a church plant there. They were doing some painting on their house that needs to sell here in GA. It was so much fun to visit!

My mom has surgery tomorrow on the other eye! We are so excited to SEE what happens. God was so faithful to do exceedingly, abundantly more than was expected with the first eye and we are expectant for the other eye too!

The kids are getting ready for the big production of Aladdin, Jr. Grace (formerly known as Ashley) is the monkey, Abu. Drew is a townperson and a prince. Opening night is March 23rd.

Good news too....Chris, Kelli and Jim are moving up here with us at the end of the month! I can't wait for them to move here. It will be nice to have family right here! It will make Thanksgiving alot more fun too!!!

I will post again soon...
